We are an exceptionally loving community of followers of Jesus, and we like being ourselves when we’re together. We want you to feel comfortable being yourself, too. Whatever your background or how life has unfolded, you are among people who realize how much we all need God’s mercy and grace.
At our services, you’ll see fairly casual dress. We generally have a full band and mostly use contemporary praise and worship songs. We usually stand as we praise God, but do not feel that you must. Some of us express our joy and wonder by lifting up our hands or clapping or even dropping to our knees. There is no one way, as long as we are respectful of each other.
During the service, you’ll also experience dynamic teaching from the Bible for about 35 minutes in a way that brings the text to bear on how we should live out our faith.
We also observe Communion weekly to remind ourselves of who we are in Jesus and all that he has done for us. If you have personally accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are free to join in Communion. Otherwise, we encourage you to take a few minutes to quiet yourself before God and pray during that time, or read from the Scriptures.
There will be a few moments in which we encourage faithful giving and generosity in response to all that God has provided us in order to help us carry out his mission in the world. The money given goes towards all the different ministries we have at CrossTrail, as well as local and global outreach. You will not be put on the spot or pressured to give.
If you have children 5th grade or younger, we encourage you to let them experience our Trailblazer Kids ministry that takes place simultaneously with our worship service.
